Pac-Ztec is a 3D maze game inspired by the classic Pac-Man, set in an Aztec/Mayan-themed environment. Navigate through ancient temple corridors, collect coins, avoid enemies, and use power-ups to turn the tide in your favor.

This project started as a personal learning exercise to explore Unity development, WebGL deployment, and 3D game design. While simple in concept, it implements several core gameplay systems and serves as a practical testbed for development workflows.

🌟 Features
  • Classic maze navigation gameplay with a 3D perspective
  • Aztec/Mayan-themed environment and visuals
  • Warp zones and power-ups inspired by the original Pac-Man mechanics
  • A* pathfinding & some interesting mechanics

🛠️ About the Project

Pac-Ztec was developed as a personal project to explore Unity engine features and WebGL optimization. It represents a series of experiments in player movement, UI design, and simple AI behavior. The current version includes a single level, based on the classic Pac-Man map, with basic enemy logic and no save system.

🎮 How to Play
  • Move: Arrow keys
  • Objective: Collect all coins to complete the level
  • Power-ups: Grab flaming skulls (power pellets) to defeat enemies temporarily
  • Avoid: Watch out for enemies... unless you’re powered up!

💬 Feedback

This game is currently in alpha, and you may encounter bugs or unfinished features. It is still far from polished, and performance may vary depending on your browser or device, particularly in the WebGL version.

Feedback is welcome and appreciated. If you come across any issues, have suggestions, or want to share your thoughts, feel free to leave a comment.

As this is a learning project, constructive input is especially helpful and will contribute to improving both this game and future projects. Whether it's about gameplay, performance, or overall experience, your feedback is valuable.
